Tilda's Blue Happy Birthday

Happy Friday Friends!
I'm so glad its almost the weekend! I do believe I live for the weekends anymore, but maybe I always have!

Today I have just a very simple card using one of my Tilda stamps. I colored it with my Copic markers and then cut it out with my Nesties.
This one was for my sister, so I gave her blonde hair just to personalize her a bit. I just received my order in from Papertrey Ink and it includes a package of shimmer paper, which I'm so ready to try stamping on. My friend Sherri uses a paper like it and her cards always have that extra little something because she uses "special " paper for her stamping!
My sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe'.....of course! Its hard to make a card and not use one of Regina's digi stamps.
I finished the inside of the card to match the outside, it just makes the whole card special in its own way...I think!
That's it for now! I'm hoping to get a few cards done this weekend, but I'm not promising because the weather is going to be perfect! *wink* Gotta get outside and soak it all up before winter comes in hard! Thank you for stopping by today. Have a GREAT weekend! HUGS!

You're Holding My Heart In Your Hands

Oh Happy Friday!
I'm so glad to say we finally made it to the weekend! Oh boy! So, do you have anything fun planned this weekend? I plan on doing a whole bunch of nothing! LOL! Sometimes you just gotta do that!
Well, I made this Tilda card forever ago and I just realized I had not shown it to you yet. I colored Tilda and the little chair she's sitting in with my Copic markers. I also used some of my Nesties to place her on.
I really do need to get out my Tilda stamps and color up another one or maybe two! I love coloring her into a special little piece of art to adorn a card. I think anyone would enjoy opening a card and seeing sweet Tilda there to greet them.
Well that's all for today. I sure am glad you could stop by and visit me today! Please be sure to sign up for my GIVEAWAY on Wednesday's post. HUGS!

Of course I colored the images with my wonderful Copic markers, used my drippy goo MS punch and added a few green Kaiser pearls just for good measure. This little card is for sale in my Etsy shop if you're interested.

Halloween Tilda and The Cutting Cafe'

Happy Thursday!

Ya know, I was trying to remember just how long its been since the last time I colored a Magnolia image and I can't think of when it was....so that must mean it's been way too long huh? Well, my sweetest friend Sherri sent me a whole bunch of Magnolia Halloween images and I just had to color them up and make cards with them!
Isn't Tilda adorable in her little witch's hat holding her pet spider? LOL! I think so! I gave her an outfit that uses some of the Halloween colors yall said you'd like to see me work with...how am I doing so far?
Now for the FUN part! I used a digi stamp set from The Cutting Cafe' called Halloween Black Squares, only I turned mine into purple, orange and green squares! How neato is that?!?!!
These little Jack-O-Lantern guys are also from Magnolia. One tall one and one short one....ca-ute!
And look at this little batty guy....he's a Magnolia stamp too! I think he is most adorable with his little fangs hanging out and his goofy look about him! I love him! LOL!
So, that's the first of many Maggie cards I've colored and put together using all the sweet images Sherri sent me. I'll show ya more real soon!
Thanks for dropping in to see me today and most of all thanks for all the great comments yall leave me! They always make me SMILE! See ya tomorrow with the winner of my digi stamp giveaway and another fun card! HUGS! NOTE: This card is for sale in my Etsy Shop!

I'm Just Sittin' Here Thinking Of You

Happy Friday to you all! I hope your day is treating you well and that you are happy and healthy!

I colored this sweet Tilda a while back and put her together on this card, but I realized I never showed her to you...so here I am with her for ya today!
Isn't she sweet as can be just sitting there? I got my Tilda stamps at Hallmark Scrapbook and my sweet friend Sherri sent me the chair stamped image. I colored the images with my Copic markers, cut them out and then re-assembled them! Tilda is popped up off the chair for a bit of added interest.
The papers are from my scrap bin and the buttons are vintage buttons from Papertrey Ink. I love those things!
Thanks for stopping in today, I really appreciate the sweet words you leave for me to read! I am taking the weekend off, so join me Monday for a new Bitten By The Bug challenge! HUGS!

You're The Best - The Cutting Cafe'

Happy Wednesday my sweet friends! I hope the mid week finds you happy and well!

Can ya believe it...I colored a Tilda image. It feels like forever since I colored one! LOL! Oh that reminds me, I think I have one I haven't showed you yet...hmmmm, I'll look that one up!
I used a great sentiment from The Cutting Cafe', it's from the set called To A Very Special Teacher's Aide. I know this is not a card for a teacher's aide, but I love using my stamps on something other than what they were originally made for.....don't you? I added the hearts using my Printmaster program.
Isn't this Tilda a cutie standing there in the water cooling her tootsies! With this hot and humid weather we're having here in Texas, I could go for a dip in the water right about now!
I used my Nesties to cut out the Tilda image and sentiment circle. That border along the bottom is a Fiskar's border punch, flowers are Prima and the papers are from my scrap bin.
THANKS for stopping by to see me today! Don't forget to sign up for my Blog Candy on Monday's post, you have till Saturday at midnight! I'm luvin' reading all your wonderful comments too.....I have the best readers! See ya tomorrow! HUGS!

A Fun Sketch Challenge Using Tilda Holding a Sunflower

Howdy my friends! Happy Tuesday! I hope your day is going well so far, I'm looking forward to a few extra days off with the Easter Holiday coming up! How 'bout you? Any plans for Easter?

I made this card for a sketch challenge that they are having over at Magnolia-licious. I was over visiting my sweet friend Sherri...she's a designer for Magnolia-licious and she had the sketch posted along with the CUTEST Tilda card and I decided to join in. I mean, after all...I have all these Tilda stamps just yelling to be stamped and colored! LOL!
See this wonderful circle stamp....YEP, you guessed it, more fun stuff from The Cutting Cafe'. I combined two separate stamps to make one for my sentiment circle. These are from the Happy Birthday Huge Circle Set. I resized these from huge to the size I needed for my card! COOL huh?
So, now I have a really sweet birthday card ready to go out when I need it! I'm working on getting my stash of birthday cards built up...I'm totally out right now!
I used my Copic markers to color Tilda and my Nesties to cut her out. This card went together so fast. I could mass produce these. The coloring of Tilda is what takes the longest, the rest of it was a breeze! I'm all about fast and easy these days!
I hope you've enjoyed my Tilda card today. I sure do enjoy coloring them. It takes me right back to when I was a little girl. I haven't colored since my boys were small, but I bet if I had some crayons and a coloring book...I'd be a happy girlie! LOL!
Have a happy day! HUGS!

Hello From Tilda In Polka Dots

Hello there! I hope your Saturday is treating you well so far. I am enjoying a day all to myself sitting at my design table creating away. I sure do enjoy those days, they are few and far in between, but when they happen it's so very wonderful to me!

Here's one of my new Tildas. She's holding a rose, and since I live in Texas...I thought a yellow rose would be just right for her!
How do you like this ribbon rose? I made that! Cool huh? I found the how-tos HERE. They are easy, look so pretty and add so much to a card. I've been making them a lot since I learned how. Your rose size will vary according to your ribbon size...so the wider the ribbon...the bigger the rose.
This card is a small card that I made from scraps. I'm still working down that heaping scrap bin of mine! This card is for sale in my Etsy shop. Oh, speaking of my shop, if you are looking for Easter cards and such....check me out...I'm stocked up and ready to ship them your way!
That's it for me today....I'm off to make 80 Prom invites....oh dear....what have I gotten myself in to? I do believe I've lost my mind! LOL! Have a wonderful weekend! HUGS!

Tilda is Just-a Swingin'

Happy Friday! Woohoo, I'm so glad it's here...what a week! Sheesh!

So tell me, did you need your sunglasses when you saw this card? LOL! It is bright huh? Again with the yellow...I don't know why I'm stuck on yellow lately...but I am!

This is two seperate stamps by Magnolia. The tree limb and swing is one and then Tilda. I colored them and then carefully cut them out, then pieced them back together. I left the end of the branch and a few of the leaves free when I glued it down to the card. It just adds a little bit more dimension to the card.

I sure am loving my new starburst Nesties. Like the yellow...I can't stop using them! LOL!

Remember my blog candy, you can WIN some Tilda stamped images and some good smelly stuff! Look HERE! This card is for sale in my Esty shop.

THANKS for visiting me today! I appreciate each and every comment I get from all of you! HUGS!

Tilda in a Bunny Suit

Happy Hump Day my friends! Isn't she Ca-ute! I'm not sure, but I would imagine that her little suit is fuzzy or maybe like velvet. Oh and BTW.....have you noticed how many outfits Tilda has? Wouldn't you love to see her closet! LOL!
After I colored her with my Copics markers, I cut her out and then popped her up off the oval and then popped the top oval off the bottom one. Lots of dimension here.
The inside of the card is decorated to match the outside. This little card is for sale in my Etsy shop! Also, if you haven't signed up for my BLOG CANDY yet....please do....I'm not having much luck with it. Maybe no one wants some good smelling stuff and Tilda stamped images? LOL! HUGS!

Hoppy Easter From Edwin

Happy Tuesday my friends!
So sorry I'm late in posting today, but I had NO Internet when I got home last night or this morning! Grrrr! Crazy service says they are updating the tower....well, I wish they would hurry up! LOL! But anyway, here I am posting on my lunch break from work.
This is Edwin and he is one of Tilda's friends. Here he is sitting on a rock wall waiting for his Easter egg to hatch....isn't this a sweet little Easter image! The wall and Edwin are two separate images and after I colored them with my Copic markers...I cut them out and glued them together, then mounted them on the card with pop dots.
The sentiment is from a new stamp set by Kim Hughes that I got at Cornish Heritage Farms. The background paper is from a Christmas stack, but I don't think you would have known that if I didn't just tell you! LOL!

So, if you "need" some Edwin or Tilda Magnolia stamps.....check out the awesome prices HERE at Hallmark Scrapbook. They even carry the Copic markers HERE to color them with! YAY!!

This card will be for sale in my Etsy shop if you are interested. I really appreciate you stopping by to see me to day! HUGS!

Toot Toot! Tilda Says Goodbye to Paris

Happy Sunday!
I have a bit of news to share with you today! I've been published in the March issue of Scrap Street.com magazine! Woohoo! I am so blessed and totally excited to have be chosen! THANK YOU Scrap Street!
Here's Paris Tilda in her cute little beret. Isn't she adorable! I just know she's hating to say goodbye to Paris, but at least she got to go there and see the sites! LOL!
Oh, BTW...you can find Magnolia stamps HERE.
Au revoir, which means goodbye in french was made using some Basic Grey stickers that came in my new paper pack that I recently got from Hallmark Scrapbook!
I cut out the Eiffel tower with my Pazzles machine. I love how you can scan a shape in and then cut it out with the Pazzles...I'm thinking you could cut just about anything out you wanted!
This card will be for sale in my Etsy shop! Wouldn't this be a cool card to send to a friend or family member that was taking a trip to Paris?

THANKS for visiting me today, please join me tomorrow for the new Bitten By The Bug challenge! HUGS!
