I Tried But I Didn't Make It.....

Yep, I tried out for the new DT over at 2 Sketches 4 You and I didn't make the cut....but you should hop on over and check out the 6 wonderful ladies who did make it....WOW!!!!
This first card I made using Kazan's sketch that she offered up for the DT try outs. I used alot of my favorite things on this card...Basic Grey paper, Prima Flowers, Martha Stewarts Doily punch, yummy ribbon, lots of BLING and a whole bunch of RED!!!!!

This is a close up of the Bo BUnny rub-on I used.....dontcha just love this saying?

I used my Cricut George cartridge to make the hearts and added lots of RED BLING to jazz it up a bit!!
For this card I used the sketch that Laura presented for the DT try outs. I used lots of blues and greens and more of my favorite things to work with...satin ribbon, a big ole silk flower, rhinestone bling, glittered chipboard flower, Martha Stewart zig-zag punch and last but not least.....one of my favorite Kim Hughes stamp sets.....Scripty Words.
I love to layer all my elements that I use to make up a card....there are several layers here....again I used my Cricut George cartridge for the heart and the Cricut Mini Monograms cartridge for the scalloped circle.
This is just a close up view of the stamp I used from Kim's stamp set Scripty Words...I love this set!!!
And finally one more view at another angle.....well, that's my 2 try out cards...even though I didn't make the team...I still love how these 2 cards turned out and I will continue to visit the 2 Sketches 4 You blog to participate in the weekly sketch challenges......Thanks for stopping by today to see what I've been up to.....HUGS!!

CONGRATULATIONS to all the ladies who made the team!!!! Here's the card I entered for the call, we were required to use a MM product, chipboard and a label......I gave it my best shot and as I always say....better luck next time!!!
