It's a FUN Game and There are Prizes!

Hi there! I was "tagged" by my bloggy friend and DT sister Jen. I am to post the 6th picture in the 6th folder on my computer....and then explain the photo. Here's the 6th picture in the 6th folder. THANKS for the FUN Jen!

I took this picture last year close to around this time of year. I just love when my rose bushes pop out and bloom. I can never resist snapping pictures of the blooms. Hmmmmm.....maybe I should create a card with this photo? Nothing says Happy Spring like flowers huh? LOL!

Family Traditions & I've Been Tagged

Oh we finally made it to FRIDAY!!! YAY!!! I hope you are having a good day so far....do you have any fun plans for the weekend? I plan on staying home and crafting all weekend!!! We are having cold weather right now so I will bundle up and craft away!!! Woohoo!!!

Today I have a sweet little card for you that I will send to one of my family or friends. I used a freebie from Scrapnfonts. You can find it HERE and download the whole November Free Gratitude Quotes Page.

I also used some more yummy paper from a kit I got from Dream Designs. The scalloped circles where cut using the Cricut Mini Monograms cartridge.

I also used another favorite of mine...vintage buttons...and...that yummy flower is from Dream Designs too!!!!

And lastly, I used my Martha Stewart border punch and sewed a bit. So, that's it for this card....okay really.....go check out the freebie download and make your own pretty little card.....you know you want to!!!! LOL!!!

My sweet friend Laura tagged me and I'm supposed to list 7 random or weird facts about myself....so lets see......Hmmmmm

1. My full legal name is REALLY long...20 letters all together!!!
   
2. When I was little I cut a comb out of my bangs and wore a bandanna to hide my "haircut" from my Mama....this gig was up when we went swimming one day, I jumped in the pool with my bandanna on and then promptly pulled it off and handed it to HER!!! Ooooopsie!!!
   
3. I whistle all the time *wink*.
   
4. My brother and I are exactly 4 years and 5 days apart, I'm the oldest!
   
5. I enjoy having the Food Network on while I make cards.
   
6. I love putting flavored creamers in my coffee...I buy 2 or 3 flavors at time...yummy!!!
   
7. My one and only vise...well besides paper and ribbons.....Dr Pepper.....gotta have it!!!! Yep, I'm addicted to the stuff!!!

Ten years ago....
Happily married with two small boys and was working as an office manager for a Home Health company on the verge of down sizing due to all the Medicare laws that changed. Our office closed and I was unemployed for about 6 months....very trying time in our lives....it's ALL better now though!!!

Five things on today's "to do list"
1. Call the Electric company or maybe an electrician - our electricity is going crazy at home...turning off and on...YIKES!
2. Get caught up on my blogging since I had no electric last night!!!
3. Make 3 challenge cards to be posted by tomorrow!!!
4. Get loads and loads of laundry done....because we had no electric last night!!!
5. Meet the wrecker to tow my son's Jeep he totalled the other night (He's FINE, thank the good Lord)

Snacks I enjoy
I don't eat a lot of snacks, but if I do get a craving......I go for a Snickers bar and a Dr Pepper....YUMMO!!!

Things I would do if I was a millionaire
I would pay off all of our bills along with my immediate family's bills too....then build a house with a room just for me and my scrappin' stuff......oh and travel A LOT!!!!!

Places I have lived
Sorry, I am very boring......I've always lived in Texas, within 25 miles of where I was born and raised.......I don't think we will ever move again...we love our place and plan on building a new home soon!!

1. I am licensed to "Do" your hair in the state of Texas - only my family benefits from my "talent" these days!!

2. I have scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and had surgery when I was 15 to stop the process....I'm still as crooked as dog's hind leg!!! LOL!!!

3. I love animals and we have 3 cats and 6 dogs......CRAZY huh!!!!

4. I LOVE the USA & Texas flags and I show it throughout my house!

5. I'm certified to operate a Forklift. Yikes.....imagine that in your head!!!

6. I can NOT go one day without a Dr Pepper!

7. When I was in High School I owned a 1973 Gran Torino and I loved to drag race it......I NEVER lost!!!! Shhhh....don't tell my Mama!!!!
