Sweater Pumpkins For Fall Decorating

Happy Friday!
I have something a little off from my normal card making today! I decided to make a few sweater pumpkins!  I got inspiration from Pinterest HERE. The tutorial is HERE.  When I first came across them I knew I wanted to make some.  Luckily my honey had old sweaters he didn't want anymore! Yay!
Pin It Here's a little trio of them in my old barn crate.  I just love how they look...so sweet!
I made 3 different sizes and each one of them is adorned with a vintage doily or piece of lace that I got at an Antique store a long time ago.
They also feature old vintage buttons from my stash.  It looks as if I've been digging in my Mamaw's closet to find my goodies! LOL!

This is the very first one I made and it's decoration is a piece of crocheted lace that someone cut from a pillow case and saved. Goodie for ME huh!

All of these sweet pumpkins are for sale in my Etsy shop if you are interested.  They are reasonably priced and will add a sweet vintage touch to your Fall decor.

Thanks for stopping by today. Please come again really soon, but until then...have a lovely day!  HUGS! :)

"Welcome Fall" by The Cutting Cafe'

Happy Monday!
Did you have a nice weekend? We sure did! Our gorgeous weather just makes it all the better too! I have a fun and inexpensive little project for you today. I used a new printable stamp set from over at The Cutting Cafe' called Welcome Fall.  Isn't that a gorgeous frame? It cost me $1.30! Yeah, I know.....right?  Hello Family Dollar's Clearance basket!
{I apologize for the glare on the glass in these pictures.  I was having a really hard time snapping these pictures with the lighting in the living room.}

Pin It I started with printing the happy fall directly onto the old book page. Can you see the little leaves to the right of happy?  Then I printed the pumpkin on the orange gingham paper and also some brown and green papers too.  I cut out the green leaves and brown stem and paper pieced them onto the orange pumpkin.
This is a little better with no glare, but it hard to see the pumpkin.  It's so much cuter in real life!
Here's a close up for you.  I used my oval Nesties to cut out the center piece for my project.  I inked the edges of the book page and the orange oval to give it an aged look.
This is our little old farm table sitting in the living room.  I added my fun old bed spring and candy corn, some grapevine pumpkins tied with raffia and and angel kitty to keep them all company.
See my little trick or treat pillows there in the chair.  A very awesome Etsy crafter that I love to shop with made those and I had to have them.  Visit her Etsy shop HERE and if you're like me and can't resist her little beauties, be sure to tell her I said Hi!

Thanks for stopping by to see me today. Please come again really soon, but until then....have a lovely day!  HUGS! :) I'm Linking to:

Fall Bingo at The Cutting Cafe'

Happy Monday!
Here we go with another week! I'm having a blast creating all these Fall cards using The Cutting Cafe' goodies. This little yummy came about using the set called Fall Time Bingo.  It's full of bingo cards with different sayings and pretty scalloped frames.
I printed out the bingo card and scalloped frame and then trimmed them down to fit my card.
All the colors in this set is pure Fall.  If you love the look of bingo cards on your projects, then this set is for you!
Here's another one of my cork oval nestie pumpkins, but this time I used a scalloped oval instead of a plain one.  Just a little different look going on.
I added some raffia and a pumpkin charm from my stash to the upper left corner to balance out the design a bit.
I will have this card in my Etsy shop if you need a fun card to send to a special someone.  I think everyone loves receiving a hand made card.  I know I do!
Please join us tomorrow over at The Cutting Cafe' Blog for CASE it Tuesdays with the Cafe'.

Thanks for swinging by to see me today.  Please come again soon, but until then...have a lovely day! HUGS! :)

Cork Pumpkin Snippet Card

Happy Wednesday!
I hope you are having a wonderful week so far! We are expecting some cooler weather and some chances of rain! Yay!
If you visited me on Monday this week, you're probably saying to yourself....hmmmm...this card looks familiar.  It's because I made it using the leftover bits and pieces from Monday's card.  I did use a different tall skinny paint chip and another sentiment from The Cutting Cafe's With Gratitude set this time though...oh and I made a smaller cork pumpkin.
I love the contrast of the cork pumpkin against the orange paint chip. So yummy and Fall-ish!
You can find out how to make these cute little Oval Nestability pumpkins HERE. They are way too easy!
As before I printed the sentiment and polka dot back ground paper on Kraft card stock. Both of these printables are in the set for a very low price. Regina is AWESOME like that!
That's it for now.  I believe this little Snippet card will go in my Etsy shop today...along with lots more Fall cards already there if you're shopping for that someone special.
Thanks for stopping by today. Please come again really soon, but until then...have a lovely day! HUGS!

Gratitude Cork Pumpkin

Happy Monday!
We are having the most wonderful "below 100 degree" weather here in Texas lately...now if we could just get some rain! Even though its still hot outside, I'm already thinking Fall!
Today's card has a few new items of fun on it.  First is the awesome polka dotted paper I created using The Cutting Cafe's new set called With Gratitude.  I used Kraft paper to print it on.  My new 3 in 1 printer I received for my birthday sends the Kraft paper through like a champ! I love it! Thank you honey!
Next up is the cork!  I was visiting my local Lowe's {its our second home with the remodeling we are doing HERE} and there they had a big ole roll of cork for about $6.  I grabbed it up and put it in my basket! Score!  I created the cork pumpkins using my oval Nesties.  For a "how-to" make a pumpkin, look HERE.  One more fun thing is the paint chip.  I always grab 5 or 6 when I go to Lowe's.  Have you seen all the things you can do with paint chips on Pinterest?  Look HERE!
Here's my little sentiment circle that I printed on the Kraft paper too.  It's from The Cutting Cafe' set called With Gratitude as well.  This set has 75 images.  I used another paint chip of the same color and my Nesties to punch out the scalloped circle to back the sentiment.
Of course I had to use another old book page.  They call my name ya know, it a must use item these days! Heehee!
That's it! One cute little punkin card all done up in lots of Fall colors!  Be sure to go over and check out all the FUN stuff Regina has for Fall and Halloween.  Oh and then please stop by The Cutting Cafe' Blog.  Every Wednesday Regina posts a bunch of ideas from the design team.  It's sure to get your creative juices flowing!
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you've enjoyed my card.  Please come back really soon, but until then.....have a lovely day!  HUGS! :)

Well I Told You I Couldn't Stop Making Them!

Happy Thursday Friends!

I know you are probably tired of seeing my frozen dinner box pumpkins. I promise this is the last one......I think! LOL! Just in case you have no idea what I'm talking about...look HERE for how to make them.
I used some old Stampin Up Paper on top of some newer DCWV paper for the background, then added a few brads, an orange checked ribbon and the pumpkin. This time on the pumpkin, instead of using jute for the stem, I used a tiny green checked ribbon.
I may add a sentiment later, but I'm not sure what I want just yet! That's it, short and sweet today! THANKS for stopping by and leaving such sweet comments! Until next time...HUGS!
NOTE: This is the last day to sign up for my giveaway.....Look HERE!

Punkin Patch Wooden Frame - Recycled

Happy Tuesday My Bloggy Buddies!

Yikes! I know.....no card.....WHAT? LOL! Well, I do love to make or alter other "stuff" too so I had to break out the wooden frame and doll it up for Fall. Whatcha think?
Aren't these little punkins the cutest EVAH? I made them using my oval Nesties! YEP, three little ovals and a dab of ribbon and you've got yourself a punkin! I got the idea while I was blog hopping and now I can't find the blog again to give kudos.....please if anyone knows where I saw these cute little punkins....let me know! Oh, and BTW...the punkins are made using my recycled frozen dinner boxes....I recycled...YAY!
For the letters I used more frozen dinner boxes and my Cricut Making the Grade cartridge that I got at Hallmark Scrapbook. After I cut out all the letters and ovals, I inked them up using my cats eye chalk ink....love that stuff!
Here's a shot of the vintage buttons I added to the lower corner just to balance out the whole thing. Oh! Before I started applying all the fun pumpkins and letters and stuff, I painted my wooden frame with some antique white paint.
This sweet little frame will be for sale in my Etsy Shop along with lots of Halloween cards and other stuff, so please check me out!
Thanks for stopping by today, please join me again tomorrow for more card...er, um....something FUN! LOL! HUGS!
