Simply Awesome Father's Day Cards

Hi there! Its one week until Father's Day, are you ready?  I'm going to be honest, even though I've had the cards made for a while, I have no idea what to get my Daddy for Father's Day!?  What do you get a man that has everything? lol!
After I made all my personal Father's Day cards, I made a few for my Etsy shop and the one above was one of them.  Since I'm a bit slow posting these on my blog, its already gone!  A few of them didn't last too long on there.
This is made using my Cricut for the letters and some Lawn Fawn stamps, Aloha, Flamingo Together and Duh-nuh.  I have such fun with these stamps.  By the way, I get all of my Lawn Fawn goodies at Hallmark Scrapbook and Crafts.  They have the BEST customer service and a sale that calls for stocking up here and there. Check 'em out and tell them DeeDee sent you!
This is the one I made for my Daddy.  He has a camper and they love to go camping, so this card is perfect for him and I do like the way he rolls!  These are also Lawn Fawn Stamps, Happy Trails and the clouds are Cricut Hello Kitty.
This card is for my oldest son that just became a first time Daddy in April!  He is truly a jawsome Dad!  This is a Lawn Fawn set called Duh-nuh.  I love that name! lol! The letters and sun are Cricut.
These next two are really plain and very masculine I think.  I simply used strips of coordinating papers and some letters from Cricut to make this one in shades of green. It's listed in my Etsy shop.
Same here, just used blues and added a sentiment using my printer.  This one is listed in my Etsy shop.
This last one is the same design, but its in red, white and blue and I added a few Lawn Fawn stamped cars from the set called Home for the Holidays.  The puffs of smoke are from the Happy Trails set.  This card too was for sale in my Etsy shop, but its already gone! Zoom!!!  I always offer FREE shipping in my Etsy shop, so please visit me sometime.

Thanks for looking!  Please come again really soon, but until then...have a lovely day!  HUGS! :)

I'm Linking to THESE lovely and FUN parties!
And here are a few more too!

Daddy's Chair

Happy Friday!
So how was your week? Mine was good, but I sure am ready for my weekend!  We are still working on the master bathroom...it's a slow process when you don't know what you're doing! lol! Hopefully this weekend we can finish it.

Today's card is made using one of Peggy's freebie images from over on her blog, Peggy Loves Vintage.  She always has the best stories and the best freebies over there. Check her out HERE!
When I saw this image I just adored it and had to make a card right away!  I love the colors and just look at the fabric on that chair! Coolness!
Since its a guy card, I wanted to use guy-ish embellishments.  I cut 3 little squares and then turned them to make a diamond shape, then topped them with a red button.  I also added the scroll-y corner to the image.  It's a cuddlebug die that always works well for guy cards too.  Lastly I added a couple of strands of jute...another one of my favorite guy embellies!

Well that's all for today! Thanks for dropping by to see me and my card! I hope you've enjoyed it! Please be sure to visit Peggy and grab your freebies! Until next time, have a lovely day! HUGS!

Daddy I Love YOU!

Happy Wednesday Yall! I hope your week is going well. Boy oh boy, has it been HOT here in Texas. These 100 degree days are wearing out their welcome already! LOL!

I know I'm a little late with my Daddy's day card for ya...but here it is anyways. This cool circle stamp is from The Cutting Cafe' and the set is called HUGE FATHER'S DAY CIRCLE PRINTABLE STAMP SET.
I used a few vintage buttons threaded with twine to "hold down" the sentiment circle. I also used my star burst Nesties to cut out the circles. I'm pretty sure that my Nesties have been one excellent investment when it comes to my card making hobby! Love 'em!
The papers are mostly Basic Grey with a bit of The Paper Studio (checks) thrown in and a few dew drops on the corners and this card was done. Quick and easy with the help of Regina's pritnable stamps!
THANKS for visiting me today, see ya again on Friday! HUGS!

I'm Featured in Polka Dots!!!

I have GREAT news!!! I received a convo thru my Etsy store from the nicest Lady named Julie that she was featuring my Etsy store and a few of my polka dot cards on her blog called On the Dot Creations. You have got to check out her blog.....it's so fresh and bright and cheerful and you'll just love it!!!! Her blog is all about Polka Dots, which I love and didn't realize just how often I used them until Julie asked me if I ever have more polka dot creations to let her know.....What an honor to be featured on a blog as nice as Julie's...THANKS Julie!!
So...speaking of polka dots......just look was I did....AGAIN......I used polka dots!!!! This is a card I created for a weekly challenge of at the Hallmark Scrapbook.com message board. Every week there is a new challenge posted to use a die cut from one of the Cricut cartridges. Please look in and join us....we have lots of fun doing these challenges!!!
So about this card....it's for my Grandpa for Father's Day....he will be 94 this summer....WOW....that's a lot of Father's Days isn't it? I used Bazzill, Close to my Heart and Miss Elizabeth's papers, some tiny brads, a bit of jute and black rain dots for their eyes. The zebras and grass are from the Cricut Zoobaloo cartridge and the hat that Grandpaw zebra is wearing is from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. Thanks for stopping by today!!!!
