Happy Monday!
Here we are again starting a new week. This month is flying by so far. I guess it seems that way when you are so busy huh?Saturday was my sweet Mama's birthday and just so happened my Daddy's retirement party was that day too. I had the day off on Friday, so I went and hung out with my Mama to celebrate her day with her. We went to Daddy's party on Saturday and this is the card I took to him for his retirement.
Sunday we just stayed home and did lots of yard work and also worked a bit more on the master bathroom. See my post about it HERE.
I found the idea for this card HERE. I really thought it was perfect for my Daddy's retirement so I had to make one of my own. Mine is a bit different from hers, but along the same lines. She's an awesome card maker!
Usually Daddy's summer time party is red, white and blue themed...so I used those colors just to keep in step. It's one of my very favorite color combos, so I loved putting it together.
I used my Cricut to cut out the letters and used my own handwriting for the congratulations. I don't normally write on my card fronts, but since the original card creator did...I decided to do the same.
That's all for now, thanks for dropping in to see me and please do come again really soon. But until then, have a lovely day! HUGS! :)
