Today is my sweetest friend Sherri's birthday!

Happy Birthday Sherri, I love ya girlie!

I wanted to make her a fun card so I got to searching through my Dustin Pike digi stamps and found this cute little monkey all laid out and full from munching on that giant cupcake! LOL! Isn't he a riot! I printed him out on white card stock and colored him up using my Copic markers. Then I cut him out close to the black lines and placed him atop the nifty little ruffled thingy I learned to make over the weekend. I learned how HERE. I love this saying and I didn't have a stamp that said it, so I created my own using my Printmaster program. I printed it out on a cream colored card stock in brown ink so it would match the rest of the card. The sweet little flowers were made using my new little tiny E K Success punch. I added some brown crystals for the BLING factor! A girl's gotta have bling on her birthday! Here a shot of my ruffled thingy that shows you how it works. Since I didn't have the die that was shown in the video, I improvised and used my large scalloped Nestie, then used a plain circle Nestie that measures about 1 1/2 inches and cut out the center. I scored in between each scallop, then folded it back and forth as the video shows. I love how it looks when its complete, so I've been making them up a storm and putting them on everything!So, that's it for Ms. Sherri's birthday card.
