Holiday Cheer and a Little Celebrating with BLOG CANDY!

Happy Friday!!! YAY, we made it to the end of the week....are you ready for the weekend...I am!!! Today I have my final Christmas card for the United Way Campaign. Another one of my favorites....Snowmen! This one is from a stamp set I got at Cornish Heritage Farms by Kim Hughes called "Heart Warmers"...the sentiment is also from the set. I colored his carrot nose and heart with my Copic markers...I get those at Ellen
The paper is some more Stampin Up! that I love and the ribbon was the last of a roll I found last year at the Dollar Store of all places....I guess I should have bought all they had...I really like it!! I also tried to create a little bit of interest by using my Martha Stewart Doily punch along the top and my Stampin Up! ticket punch on the corners of the snowman image...I think it's always better to have some movement than to just have straight lines....don't you?
By now you're wondering when is she gonna stop going on about this card and get to the BLOG CANDY!!!! LOL!!! Well, in case you didn't counter jumped right on past the 40K mark and I would like to say THANK YOU to all you sweet people who stop by to see me every day by giving a few goodies here's the deal...I was visiting Steph's Blog, which I do on a daily basis cause she so danged talented and she has a giveaway posted.....but there is a have to "Pay it Forward"!! I LOVE that idea....I will post my giveaway in a day or two and the thing you have to do for me is to say that IF you must "Pay it Forward" or "Do the Same" and giveaway something too!!!! Doesn't that sound FUN? So check back with me over the weekend and I'll have some goodies for you to try and win!! THANKS for listening to me babble on....Have a lovely day!!! HUGS!!!!

I love this card, very cute and the ribbon is perfect. Next time I'm at the mall, I'll have to check out the ribbon at the dollar store.

I like some of the ribbon I find at the dollar store too. My last best find was at Mike's though - in the clearance section they had some rolls marked down to 50 cents. Good deal right? So when I check out, my whole purchase was 13 cents. The rolls were ringing up at a penny each! Wooohooo!

Love your cards, I'm a daily visitor to your site now. Thanks for all the tips and links that you provide!

This set is AWESOME!!! It may be my favorite. I love the Dolly Lace punch - this one is also one of my favorite MS punches - it's so elegant. I will be back to play along on your blog candy giveaway - sounds fun. Have a great day my friend!!!
Hugs, T
