The Monster In Me

Happy Monday and Happy Halloween!
Our weather has turned off cooler so I found myself stowed away in my craft room having a ball creating this past weekend! How was your weekend?  Did you craft away too?
Today I've got a fun card for you that I made for my honey!  This is from The Cutting Cafe' set called A Bunch of Monsters.  I created my centerpiece using two different stamps, one is the huge circle words and then the cute little monster. So adorable!
Pin It After I printed it on the Kraft card stock, I cut it out using my Nesties.  I wanted to try and keep the card guy-ish, so I wanted to use the star burst die and the largest one was too small for my main circle, so I just offset it so I could still use it.
I colored his eyes and antennas with my Copic markers just to add a dab of color to the image.  Again, keeping it simple.
I tried to keep it simple being a guy card, but I couldn't resist some ribbon, a vintage button and some twine...oh and a few rain dots too!
I think its fun to give the one you care about a little reminder every now and again just so they don't forget how much they mean to you!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Please come again really soon, but until then...have a lovely day! HUGS! :)

NOTE:
The sweet Ms. Regina over at The Cutting Cafe' is offering a very nice freebie (3 sets for FREE) for your holiday projects.  Please check it out HERE, but hurry, it's for a limited amount of time only. :)

That's so cute!
I tend to struggle with cards for men because I try not to use ribbon etc, though this goes to show it can still work really well without looking "girly" Fab card!

So many things to love about this card--the image printed on the kraft paper, the offset starburst, the manly look and that awesome ribbon. Great card!

Super guy card, super cute. And I know any fella wouldn't mind a wee ribbon here and there now and then.
Love this card, DeeDee.
