Happy Monday!
Did you miss me? Sorry I didn't post last week, but we've been busy with the house remodel and I haven't had time to sit down and create! I really hate when that happens too!Today's card is brought to you by the sweetness of my step Mom. She got this cute little set of sock monkey stamps and I just had to stamp a few and bring 'em home to color up! I had a sock monkey when I was a kid. My Great Aunt Daisy made it for me. Hmmmm, I wonder where he is now? Maybe my Mama still has him somewhere.
I cut out the stars with my Cricut George cartridge and my Expressions machine. Then I ran the white star through my printer for the sentiment.
I made his banner freehand and then used a pin for the pole. The tiny little stars are from my stash. See the pom-pom on his hat? I made that using some red and white baker's twine. I thought he needed a pom-pom for his hat to make him look authentic.
That's my sweet little sock monkey card for today. I have several more stamped monkeys to play with when I get time....which at the rate our remodel is going may be not soon enough!
Thanks for stopping by today, please do come back soon! Until then, have a lovely day! HUGS! :)
