Today's card features one of Peggy's vintage images from over at Peggy Loves Vintage. What a sweet little girl skipping along as happy as can be...not a care in the world! Tra-la-la!
Of course I printed her on textured paper so it looks and feels more vintage-y. Cards back then were so much more a piece of art. Now they just slap the image on a flat glossy card stock and call it good!
I used some baker's twine in red/white and turquoise/white all lined up alternating one color then the other and then topped it with some vintage buttons. Just a fun little detail that adds a bit of interest.
I used a Kim Hughes stamp for the sentiment and cut it out with my Nesties and then added a punched flower centered with a tiny crystal.

Oh, this is so sweet and precious DeeDee! Love the printing on the texture but I have a bit of trouble with that. Sometimes the image sort of rubs off. Do you think it's because I have a laser printer? Is your's inkjet? In any case, I adore this! xxD
That is the cutest little girl ever! Perfect card..I love the way you alternated the twine! Tfs! :)
I LOVE this image, DeeDee!! And love how you've used her too! Cute papers, twine, and buttons and love the easel style card! Super adorable, girlfriend!!! Hugs!!
I absolutely love the papers you've selected for this! Of course your skill at putting it all together helps a whole bunch! You have such a knack at doing this! I love it!
Sweet....and precious, just like Donna said. Love polka dots... and you do the vintage cards up mighty fine, girlie. Love this image. Love the design. Love the style.
