There's Love In The Air

Happy Friday!
We got more snow last night and there is more on the way today! Oh how I wish the temperature would rise. I've been trapped at home from work since Tuesday! I have piles of laundry and dishes to do, but the pipes are frozen and I can't get it done! They are forecasting a high of 42 degrees tomorrow, so maybe we'll thaw out then! Fingers crossed!

I thought I'd share a few of my Valentine decorations with you today. I've had fun collecting things here and there and placing them around the house. Be sure to click on the green HEREs and visit the Etsy shops. You will love them if you like old vintage-y stuff!
Today you'll see my old Hoosier hutch in all it's green and orange glory sporting shades of reds and pinks. Yeah, those colors DO NOT go together, but for the sake of getting dressed up....the old hutch is loving it...and I am too! In this picture I got my LOVE garland HERE.
And my old scale HERE. The crystal door knob, old baby shoe, doily and angel I've had for years, but the heart shaped cookie cutters are new from Michael's this year.
My heart shaped tart tin and the aluminum measuring spoons are from HERE. The vintage aluminum spoons are just like the ones my Mamaw used when I was a kid. And last but not least, the jello molds are from HERE. Since this picture I have filled the jello molds with Valentine M&Ms. Yummy!
This beautiful old Valentine hanky was found HERE. And the book in the background that you can see better in the next picture is a two story book that I found HERE. I love Wizard of Oz anything!
The big old jar of vintage buttons in the left hand corner, I've had for ever and ever...love me some vintage buttons! The sweet little sequined heart hanging on the front knob of the hutch is a new find from Hobby Lobby this year. And that yummy pink wreath is one of two I made this year using some Christmas tinsel I found on sale after the holidays...lucky me! That's about it for now. I have more decorations that I will try and share with you soon!

I hope you've enjoyed the stroll around my old hutch, please come again and I will have something fun for you. Being snowed in for 4 days gives way to me making LOTS of Valentine goodies! Until next time, have a lovely day! HUGS! :)
