Today I have a simple little card to show you that I created using one of those little cards you receive in the mail. You know the companies that send you a pack of holiday cards and envelopes and then want you to send back a small donation. I always save those! I just cut the card into pieces and used almost all of it. I even used the inside verse, but forgot to snap a picture of it for you to see.
I made a little arrangement of branches and buttons just give the card a little something special and add interest. I also used some red and white baker's twine and a Stampin' Up stamp for the verse you see here.
It's a very simple card, but still very holiday-ish I think! I love to recycle and this is a wonderful way to do so!
I hope you've enjoyed my card today and till next time, have a lovely day! HUGS! :)

So pretty DeeDee!!! And how awesome that you can take something manufactured and put a homemade spin on it. It's like that cooking show "semi-homemade"! Too cool! Anyway, love what you did with it!
hugs, Sharon
Dee Dee - this is SPECTACULAR !!! What a great job of 're-purposing' the standard greeting card you got in the mail ! Very nicely done !!!!
I'm such a huge fan of your recycling projects. You've taught me to look at everyday things with a different eye. Great way to recycle those cards. I usually just hang on to the envelopes, but cutting up the cards is a great idea! Love it. Best, Curt
Great card DeeDee. I love the image, so peaceful! I've never really liked the cards that come in the sets cos they always look and feel so commercial but you given it a new life and lots and lots of warmth. I love it!
