Hello Birdie

Happy Friday!
Oh boy am I ever ready for the weekend to arrive! Whew! This has been one loo-loo of a week! Our weather has been chilly and windy and I have to say that I love the chilly part, but not the wind! Good gravy, I thought I saw Dorothy and Toto go by the other day!

So on to my little birdie card. I was digging through my scrap bin and came across this birdie paper and had to make a card with it. The reverse side of the print is a matching solid, so I was set to go!
I used a few Kim Hughes stamps to create my card. First is the "hello" and then the other is the trees, which I stamped on the solid colored side, cut out and paper pieced back together. Love 'em!
I also used my circle Nestie and punched out one of the sweet birdies and then decorated the bottom edge with buttons. See the two center buttons with the white areas? That is glue! I glued dew drops on top of the buttons and the glue still had not dried after 2 days of sitting on my craft table. Anyways, sorry 'bout that! When they finally dried it was a very pretty affect.
I popped up the trees and used 3 different pieces of fibers to create a little more interest to the bottom of the card which seemed to be a bit lop-sided to me before hand.
So, there ya go...another card created straight from my scrap bin! I love doing that!
I hope you've enjoyed my card today. Please join me again sometime soon. Until then, have a lovely day! HUGS! :)

Creativity abounds on this one! As far as the glue, I would have never known! It just looked like light reflecting. The fibers at the bottom are perfect, and the buttons/dew drops look like a perfect nest. This is fabulous! Best, Curt
