Hello there! Today is challenge day over at Bitten By The Bug and also we are doing a BLOG HOP with prizes! See that little set of cards up there all done up in a big pink bow? See deets below on how to win!Now, on to my challenge card. This week Regina asks us to use the ribbon cut from Cricut's Paper Pups cartridge. I have not ever used this cut before, but I'm glad I have now!
This is a birthday card I made for my cousin. She is 11 days younger than I am and we always joke about who's older before we both become the same age again. So I thought I'd make her a funny card this year.
Since our birthday is in August and our birthstone is Peridot, I used some yummy green rhinestones all the way around the ribbon top. I also used Diamond glaze on the lettering.
Here's the inside of the card. If you zoom in, you can see that I glittered the lettering on the "me too!" Those little flowers are from a Martha Stewart punch...it punches two small and one large flower each time.....love it!
The top circle was made using one of the 100s of digi stamps you can find over at The Cutting Cafe'.

I obviously was too excited to get to the snack part. (I've been trying to cut down on that) Lately the snack has been snap peas right out of the bag, but my real downfall is tortilla chips. xxD

My fav is Corn Thins (rice crackers only with corn) spread with Philly cream cheese and then topped with Spicy Capsicum Salsa. . .yummo!!! Low fat as well which makes it extra tasty in my book lol.

Gold fish crackers! Love them, and I do weight watchers, and these are a great filling, low point snack.

OK, both of these cards are SO CUTE!!! (I also loved the strawberry card set that scrolled by at the very top!!) My fave quick snack is guacamole (MUST HAVE A FOOD PROCESSOR!) - throw in an avocado, 1/2 of a tomato, 1/4 of a red onion, 1/4 of a jalapeno, a bit of cilantro and PULSE!!! SOOO DELISH!

Oh I just love those cards, absolutely great. I think Saturday is a perfect day for a giveaway because I am getting married on Saturday. Let's see my favorite quick snack used to be doritos and cheese but since I started getting ready for the wedding and am doing this huge diet thing my favorite quick snack now is grapes in the freezer, these are so good I keep them in the freezer all the time.

It's always great to see a humorous card. This one is great. Your prize is wonderful. My favorite quick sweet snack is graham crackers with chocolate frosting on them made into a sandwich.
DeeDee, this is just too funny! My niece and I have a similar story (yes, my niece...lol) except she's about 6 months older than me! I'll have to remember this idea for next year! Too funny! My favorite snack is popcorn! Love it! :)

I love the green rhinestones-not just because they are pretty but because they have sentimental meaning behind them. She'll know when she sees the colors too. Hmmm....my favorite snack is a plate of sliced fresh italian bread(like bruschetta slices) pile on crumbled feta cheese,add a chunk of onion,drizzle with evoo then top w/cracked black pepper. complete with a York peppermint patty-to rid the onion breath!

Love the cards. One of my fav quick snacks is Keebler (can't help it I'm a brand name FREAK) graham crackers with strawberry cream cheese. Sometimes I add a slice of banana. Yum !!
