A Pink Ribbon Card

Happy Hump Day my friends!!! Since this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month....I wanted to make at least one pink ribbon card to post. So here is my pink card. Luckily I have not had to experience breast cancer directly myself or through any of my family or friends....but I would think that this experience would be a journey....so that's why I put the "journey" sentiment on this card.
I cut the word out using my Cricut Graphically Speaking cartridge, covered it with liquid glue and then sprinkled it with some yummy glitter....then I added a big ole pink rhinestone to the dot on the "j".
For the "ribbon" I used the Cricut George cartridge and cut out the "&" sign and then trimmed it to resemble a ribbon....whatcha think? I used some pink Stickles to highlight the raised parts of the embossing that I did using the script Cuttlebug embossing folder. Just a little extra bling!!!
Lastly I added a sheer pink bow and a yummy flower with a pink button center.....oh yes and the paper I used is Melissa Frances.....how can you not think of Melissa Frances when you're making a pink ribbon card? Well, that's my shout out to Breast Cancer Awareness Month.....I hope and pray you and I don't or will ever have to "experience breast cancer....I'm praying that they will find a cure so that our children will never know of it in years to come!!!! Have a wonderful day!!! HUGS!!!!
