I'm visiting my sweet friend and fellow LadyBug Design Team Member Sherri Caudle and as a big surprise and bonus our Boss Lady Jody and her husband Brad are flying in tonight to take us out to dinner.....WOW....I'm so excited to meet everyone for the first time!!! So by now you are saying...what in the world does this have to do with LadyBugs???? Well, since we are the LadyBug Design Team over at Hallmark Scrapbook and I wanted to bring my sweet friends a little gift....or two....I decide to make up everything in the LadyBug theme.
The first thing I did was make these cute little gift bags all LadyBugged out....the sweet little ladybug is from the Cricut Doodlecharms cartridge...also used some Daisy D's & American Crafts papers, rain dots and some yummy little primas too.
Next....I asked my step Mom to make some little ladybug jewelry piece for each of them and we decided on a key chain for the pair of them....we decided they would probably carry them more than wear a piece of jewelry. These are the cute little tins I spiffied up to place them in.
Here is Sherri's key chain with an "S" on the end. I made little cards to attach the key chains to so they would be just sliding around in the tins.
Here's a close up of the ladybug beads on the key chains.....all glass beads with sterling silver spacers.....so danged CUTE!!!
One more view of the sweet little tins all tied up with a strip of Bazzill and tied up with a red ribbon and a few primas......YUMMY RED!!!!!
Now here we go with an actual "treat"!!! I recycled or up-cycled as some say....these are cat treat jars with a flip top lid......YES, I washed them out thoroughly...they don't smell of fish....LOL!!! They are filled with bite sized Dove bars.....yummy!!!
I made two little tags that dangle from the bow....this one says "love you ladybug"...again I used my Doodlecharms cartridge.
This one says "ladybug treats". I used Diamond Glaze on both tags to not only make them more sturdy, but to jazz them up a bit!!!
I placed another sweet little ladybug on top of the jars.....the papers are Basic Grey....I chose to use papers that matched purple since the lids were purple and I didn't want to try and paint or cover them......too hard!!!!
So whatcha think? Will they like them or what??? LOL!!! I'm sure I am having loads of fun or will be very soon....thanks for stopping by to see me...keep your fingers crossed I hit a jackpot on the slots!!! HUGS!!!
