Now on to my card I've created with my freebie. To showcase my sweet little bellboy delivering his love letter, I chose to make a pedestal card {cuz I think they are FUN} Isn't he adorable?
I'm pretty sure that inside of his letter, this is what the message reads: Hugs & Kisses from Me to You, so that's what I used for the sentiment in my card too! Heehee! The best thing about making these pedestal cards is that they still fit in a standard A2 envelope. They measure 5 1/2" X 4 1/4". I used Kraft card stock so it would be more sturdy and stand up better, but you can use any nice quality card stock you have. So much fun to make!
I used my heart shaped Nesties to cut out a couple of hearts and then used my Cricut to cut out the XOs to top them off. I also used my EK success flower punch and a few rhinestones to finish off the corners. The flowers are actually covering up a goof I made while stitching around the edge, but you can't even tell can you? YAY! It worked!
So now hurry...run, don't walk and get your free vintage image from Peggy and get to creating a Valentine for your sweetie! BTW, my little card is for sale in my Etsy shop! Thanks for dropping by and please do come again real soon! Until then, have a lovely day! HUGS!
