Today is a holiday for most of us American citizens living in the United States! According to Wikipedia, did you know that the first Labor Day celebrated was on September 5, 1882 in NY City? Me either, but you can click on the Wikipedia link and read all about it...interesting!
Okay, on to the new challenge we have going on over at Bitten By The Bug. We are challenged to use the present from Pooh & Friends. How Ca-ute! I made a shaped card, cause I love making them and I needed a neato card for my Daddy's birthday. He loved it and said he was gonna take it to work and show it off.....he always does that! LOL! Speaking of my Daddy, since his bday was back on the 3rd...I wanted to spend a bit of time with him, so I went over to his house Saturday and we just hung out all day doing this and that in the yard and we even worked on my "windshield wiper squirters" to get them working again! I don't know about yours, but my Daddy knows how to do everything! *wink* See that nifty tag there, well that is more of Ms. Regina's talent at work! I used two of her sets to create this tag, the tag shape is from the Frame Journaling Set and the Happy Birthday is from her new set called Big Stuff Sentiments. I used my Printmaster program to join the two together. The bow on the gift is popped up using pop dots and then I tied the tag on using a bit of white twine. Oh and another neato thing about this card is the paper! It's digi paper from Raspberry Road Designs. The set is called Bailly's Room and it all matches so there is never any guess work on my part! YAY! Oh and the best part of this set.....it's FREE!!!! RRD has lots of freebies and also wonderful things for sale too. If you go visit them you won't be disappointed! Please be sure to tell them I sent you if you purchase something!
That's it for today's BBTB Challenge, I hope you've enjoyed my card and all my rantings! Please join me next time for more card FUN! HUGS!
