I was honored to choose one of the weekly challenges over at Hallmark Scrapbook's Message Boards recently and I call my challenge the 'winged challenge'. The challenge was to use any Cricut cartridge and make a card or some other project with a cut that has wings. Personally, I chose a butterfly.
Today is my Aunt's birthday and I needed to make her a card, so I combined the two tasks. This circle stamp from THE CUTTING CAFE' came in very handy while assembling my card. I printed it out, then cut it out with my oval Nesties for a more interesting look. Whatcha think?
Here's my butterfly. I cut her from the Storybook cartridge using some fun glitter paper by DCWV. I placed two pop dots in between the layers to give the effect of flight.
This is a really fun shaped card. I cut it out with my Pazzles machine using a cutting file from THE CUTTING CAFE'. Oh and see that paper, such a lovely blue with daises and polka dots.....LOVE it! It comes from Raspberry Road Designs. The kit is called 'Daisy Dew'.
THANKS for coming by to see me today! Please join me tomorrow for more card FUN! HUGS!
