I wanted to keep this ornament really simple because the paper is so very pretty with all the lovely glittery snowflakes. So, I just added a simple scalloped circle with a few rhinestones and added a big ole blue bow with a snowflake dangling from the middle.
I also added a few rhinestones to the trunk for a little extra sumpin' sumpin'!!! Then I strung a piece of jewelry cord through the top to hang it by. How easy was that!!! This box can also be cut with a triangle shaped hole in the front and you could add some yummy little candies to peek through.
My tree is all done up in snow people this year, so this little tree ornament will be for sale in my Etsy store very soon. Be sure to hop on over to the BBTB site and check all the other little pretties the rest of the designers made for this week's challenge. Thanks for dropping by to see me today...join me tomorrow for some SNOW!!!!!!
**Every day the month of December I will be posting what I call "Texas Sayings". Texans have a strange way of expressing themselves sometimes and lots of times it's down right hilarious....I thought I'd post some of the ones my family says the most. I get most of my ideas from my hubby and my Daddy......some of them can't be posted for lack of being "G" rated....but most of them can, so I thought I'd share them with you...I hope you enjoy them!!!
