A Very Happy Birthday - Peggy Loves Vintage

Happy Friday My Friends!
Hello there and welcome to my blog! I've got another one of my snippet cards to show you today using a beautiful vintage image from Peggy Loves Vintage. The colors in this image are so vivid and sharp...I just had to print it out when I saw it!

I love finding the images with the greeting already "built in"...it makes my card so much simpler to put together! With this one, all I did was add a few crystals and a ribbon and that was it! Oh, and the pink dotty paper is one of Peggy's very own digi paper designs she offers in her stores.
If you're new to my blog and you're not quite sure what a snippet card is.....it's the left over piece of paper I get when I cut a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card from an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock. The card measures 3" x 5 1/2". It's a very small card, but with images like Peggy's...it packs a lotta pizazz!
Well, that's about it for today! THANKS for stopping in to visit me, and please do come back soon! Until next time, have a lovely day! HUGS!

Noel.....Fancy Holiday Season

Happy Thursday Friends!
We've almost made it to the weekend! YAY! I bet if you've been following my blog...this Santa looks really familiar! LOL! I just love this paper and thought I needed a card to match my holiday planner.
I needed a lovely sentiment to go with my Santa, so of course I looked to my files from The Cutting Cafe'. This word...Noel...is from a set called Fancy Holiday Season. Isn't the font gorgeous? I love it!
To finish off my card, I added a few Martha Stewart punched snowflakes and some red rhinestones. This is one of those very simple yet beautiful cards where the paper does all the work! That's the best kind!
Thank you so much for visiting me today! I always enjoy when you stop by and leave a message, it brightens my day! Until next time! HUGS!

Happy Holly Days - Making Handmade Cards

Happy Tuesday Friends!

I've got a card today that I made using a new eKit from Making Handmade Cards called Christmas Pets. Oh my goodness, it has the most adorable little critters all decked out for the holidays! I chose a decoupage puppy project for my card today.

I think in this picture you can see the layers. There are only 3 pieces to cut out and then I used pop dots to layer it so you could really see the dimension of it. The decoupage pages come with each of the cuts and directions for what to do. Such a neat idea!
I printed the tag using a font from Scrapnfonts called LD Christmas Troll. Isn't it a cute font? I really like it!
Although my rhinestones look blue in this picture they are actually green. I have lots of glitz going on with this card. I used some Martha Stewart glitter on the Santa hat and then some glitter paper for the snowflakes background. I also used my Cuttlebug snowflake folder for one of the panels too! The punched snowflakes are from a Martha Stewart punch that I got last year after the holidays.
This is one of the easel cards that are so popular right now. If you haven't tried one...you really need to! If you want more information on Making Handmade Cards eKits you can go HERE and sign up for their FREE newsletter!

Thank you for swinging by to see me today! I really appreciate all your kind words and I hope you can stop by again real soon! Have a lovely day! HUGS!

Walk In My Garden Grass and Scrapnfonts - BBTB Challenge

Happy Monday My Bloggy Friends!
This week over at the Bitten By The Bug site I was honored to be hostess for this week. YAY! I selected the grass from the Cricut Walk In My Garden cartridge. We are being sponsored by Scrapnfonts this week and were given a new dingbat and font set to work with...how cool is that? Watch the BBTB site this week for a new contest sponsored by them too!
Here's a close up of a couple of the doodlebats from DB Mulberry Lane. The cloud, owl, and tree are all dingbats. There are many more in this set too...all CUTE! I just printed them out on scraps of designer paper...easy! Oh, the "apples" on the tree are Swarovski crystals...YUM!
This is the font LD Outline Curl. I love this font and I will be using is a lot more. You could even color it in if you so deemed it necessary! LOL!
Here's the grass. Yep, I know it's not your normal spiky looking grass, but it really goes along with my wild card today! Very modern, dontcha think? LOL! I literally grabbed bits and pieces of scrap paper from my scrap bin and just started laying out this card. When I was done...I loved it! It's wonderful when that happens!
That's all for today. Please be sure to go over and visit the Bitten By The Bug site and see all the other designer's wonderful works of art! Every week I just ooh and aah at the talent on that team! THANKS for visiting me today, see ya next time for more card FUN! HUGS!
