Happy First Birthday From Hamilton!

Happy Hump Day to you all!!! The air is crisp and there are leaves all over my patio....that must mean that Fall is here!!! YAY!!! It's about time for some cooler weather around here....have you ever seen an electric bill in Texas?? It's not a pretty sight!!! LOL!!! Okay, on to Hamilton......this is Hamilton the Dog....he is a Cuttlekids die, and I think he's adorable!!!

I chose Hamilton for this card because it's for a little boy and it's his first birthday....little boys and dogs go together....right? I also wanted to give the card lots of textures and interest for a one year old to discover. Hamilton and the "one" are popped up off the card with pop dots adding yet another layer to the already ongoing layers on this card. The "one" is a fun shaped "one" that I cut out using my Cricut Storybook cartridge. I also used my all time favorite...the Happy Birthday Cuttlebug embossing folder....love that one!! Oh and of course, I always love putting ric-rac on a boy's card...so I used a big ole jumbo piece of green ric-rac and then finished everything off with some Rain Dots....yep...I love those too!!! Oh and BTW...this is some Nana's Kids paper from the boy stack.....so bright and colorful....it's FUN!!!
