I've Been Framed!!!

Well, not really.....I've been MAKING a frame though...hee hee!! Alrighty.....let me just say that I ordered and received my kits from Sweet Arts Paperie and I am having so much FUN with this Halloween kit....I haven't dove into the other kit yet...that's another post.....
Eeeeek.....does ole Jack here scare ya??? Well, I think he's cute....he came in the kit as a piece of plain white chip board....I used some Tim Holtz crackle paint in the color of "tea die" to make him look spooky and interesting....then I put a piece of the sparklee black felt that was tucked into my package as a BONUS on the back to make his face stand out....tied a piece of raffia on his stem and there ya a go.......it's JACK!!!
Look at these sparklee sticker letters...they were in there too....just peel and stick...easy peasy!!! Oh and the yummy black satin ribbon and the black safety pin that the frog charm is hanging on (frog not included in the kit)...they were in the kit.....Oh, and can you tell....it's hard to see...but I added some Kaiser black rhinestones to every other dot across the bottom and then lastly....I added 3 vintage buttons from my stash......I *heart* old buttons!!!!
This is just an 8 X 8 wooden frame that I bought at WM for a few bucks.....I used Zip Dry glue to stick everything down good and tight...Oh and I almost forgot to say....that cute pumpkin paper is a 2 sided Heidi Grace that was in the kit too.....the orange stripes are the back side. I just cut strips of paper to fit, slathered the section with glue, stuck it down all the way around then sanded the edges with my sanding block for a distressed look. All you have to do is add a cute picture of your kiddos and it's a lovely memory framed!!! This little cutie and a few other matching items I'm working on will be for sale in my Etsy store....but probably not till the weekend.....I'm not finished yet...but you are gonna like it!!! That's it for today....thanks for dropping in to see me.....HUGS!!!
