Aaaaah yes, this is Belle's yellow dress.....only it's not yellow this time. When Regina from over at the Bitten by the Bug sight asked us to make something with this cut from the Cricut Dreams Come True cartridge.....I knew right away I wanted to make a shaped card and also I knew that her dress would not be yellow!!
I made some "flowers" with a sheer baby blue ribbon. I took a length of ribbon....about 12 inches I think and hand stitched a running stitch down one side and then pulled it to gather it up....forming a spiral as I pulled.I used this yummy Basic Gray paper and since it's mostly all blue with just a hint of the green...I trimmed it all in green with lots of Stickles to make it shimmer. I also added some pearl Dew Drops as well.
I went into my hope chest and pulled out this pansy doily my Mamaw made for me a very long time ago when I was a young girl in high school.....gosh...I sure do miss my Mamaw and all she did for me!!! What a beautiful dress! I love the "flowers" at the bottom. I still miss my MeMaw, and she passed away when I was 12 (I'm 37 now!).
