Quilted Joy

Happy Day to you and yours....I hope you are having a lovely day so far!!! Today I have a card that probably looks REALLY familiar...LOL...that's because it looks a lot like the card I made for the Bitten by the Bug challenge for this week....I posted it on Monday...but anywhooooo.....I actually made this card first....you know kinda like a test run.....but I really like how it looks. It's like an old quilt, tattered and torn.......and then the distressed look of all the other details.

Here I used another Scrapnfonts doodlebat from the set called DB 'Tis The Season Modern and the font is called SNF Classy Charm. I cut out the marquee cut from the Cricut Storybook cartridge and then printed my doodlebat on there. I colored in the doodlebat with my Copics and added some red rhinestones for the berries on the wreath....then I distressed the heck out of the whole marquee with my cats eye chalk ink. Instant oldness...LOL!!! And I don't know if you can see it good enough, but the ribbon is distressed as well.....I poked holes in it and then tied loose knots in it.

I know I've said it before...several times...but I love this look.....why, I'm not sure...but I really love it!!! To add to the distressed look I sanded the card stock and ripped and tore the paper under the "quilt squares", then inked it all up to finish it off. Okay...that's it...the same ole card as Monday....but, I really liked it so I wanted to show you!!!! Okay...join me tomorrow and I hope to have something finished to show you.....I have several things made up....but I can't share them quite yet....soooo, I'm working on something to post tomorrow for your viewing pleasure..hee hee hee!!!
