Happy Sunday!
It's been a very long time since I posted anything to my blog due to work being well.....WORK, lots of work! LOL! Today I was cruising the ole' FB I saw Kim Hughes' Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge and since I needed a graduation card, I thought I'd play along! There is a sketch to use, so I did just that!I used one of Kim's older stamp sets from back in her Cornish Heritage Farm Days (the owl and grad hat) and then one of her Paper Smooches stamps (the celebrate).
I thought a book page owl would look even smarter and more educated {LOL} so I stamped him on book page paper and cut him out and popped him up off the original stamped image. You can see it peeking out here in this picture.
This owl has got to be one of my all time favorite Kim Hughes creations ever! I love his lazy eyed look!
I had fun making this card and playing along with Kim's challenge. It makes me want to keep on creating, but the yard work is calling my name and I must go answer it! Ha!
Thanks for stopping by today. Please come again really soon, but until then...have a lovely day! HUGS! :)
