Vintage Plates and Vinyl

Happy Friday!
Well we made it! To the weekend that is! With the crazy week we've had, I thought it would never get here! Gosh!
I have a little story for you.  Maybe its not too long to share with you.  See that little plate?  When we moved in our new house it was living in the tool shed.  It was really dirty and I believe it was used as a drainage saucer for a plant.  We had a yard sale recently and I took it in and washed it up and put a bright pink .50 cent sticker on it.  It sat there and no one even looked one time.  I said to my honey, "if that little plate doesn't sell...I'm gonna do something with it".  "Ok", he said.
Pin It Guess what? It didn't sell!  And just look at her now! What a lovely Halloween decoration she is now!
I used my Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge for the cat.  I added gold crystals to the cat's eyes.
I used my Cricut Mini Monsters cartridge for the tree and the boo!  My vinyl came from Expression Vinyl.
Since I made this one small little plate I've ventured out to find more plates like this to create more fun.  Oh I found them and I've been creating away! FUN!
This little plate measures 6" and I think I'm going to keep her for my mantel just because she has a story and I love when old  things have a story.
I will however be selling my other creations in my Etsy shop really soon!  Like this weekend soon! Eeeek!  I'm so excited.....can you tell? LOL!
Thanks for stopping by to see me today.  Please come back really soon! Until then, have a lovely day!  HUGS! :)
