Happy Wednesday!
Today's project was inspired by a friend of mine who is having her very first baby.....a baby girl named Delani. Isn't that a precious name?
One day while visiting a link party, I came across THIS little project. I clicked on the link and found a very talented lady that also has something else in common with me besides my love for paper crafts.....she designs for Regina Easter at The Cutting Cafe'! {I'm retired now, but I used to be on the team.....maybe again real soon...wink!} Well, long story short, I pinned it on my pin board over at Pinterest, cuz I had to make a banner like Lori's for my sweet friend.
I used my Cricut Expressions machine and the New Arrival cartridge to cut out the little dresses...all (6) of them and then I used the Alphalicious cartridge to cut out the letters. Once again I used my old book pages to create this rather vintage looking room decor. {Eeeek! I'm hooked on old book pages!}
I used hot glue and some twine to string them all together and then tied some wrinkle ribbon and a vintage button in between with some tiny button twine.
Each letter is first cut out in Kraft card stock, then the Basic Grey paper layer, then popped up using pop dots. For a final touch I applied some Prima jewels.
To hang the little banner, I tied a loop in each end and then added a tiny clothes pin covered in the same paper the letters are in. {Sorry I forgot to snap a picture of those}
That's it for my baby banner today, thank you for stopping by to see me. Please join me again on Friday when I show you the sweet little card I designed to go with this banner! Until then, have a lovely day! HUGS! :)
