Daddy, if your looking....don't look now...come back Friday...or act surprised when you see this card! Heehee!
Happy Wednesday!
Today's card is great fun and to tell you the truth, I really enjoyed making that little origami shirt you see up there! Who knew i could do origami? Not me! I found the idea over at Cardz TV blog. She always has cute ideas, but this one really caught my eye! Mary made hers for Father's Day, but I needed a cute idea for my Daddy's upcoming birthday. He recently retired and I'm sure he'll be wearing his Hawaiian shirts more often now...don't you think? Mary shows you on a video how to make these little shirts.I used some shiny silver stickers for the buttons on my shirt and also a circle sentiment from The Cutting Cafe'. Oh and I hand stitched all the way around the outer edge of the card front too. That always makes it so much more special...I think so anyways! :)
I really love the look of this card. It's just so masculine and rustic looking. I just know my Daddy will love it! Please be sure to visit The Cutting Cafe' to see all the wonderful yumminess you'll be able to stand in one little shop! It's one of my favorite places to visit!
Thanks for stopping by today! Until next time, have a lovely day! HUGS! :)
