Happy Monday!
How was your weekend? Good? Mine was too! We got lots of stuff done around the house. Have I mentioned before that we have a list of house "to-dos" a mile long! Every little bit helps! You can see my latest post over on my house blog HERE.Today's card is featuring a yummy vintage image from Peggy Loves Vintage. Isn't she lovely? It was my SIL's birthday last Friday, so I made this card for her.
I printed the image out onto Bazzill card stock and then trimmed closely around the edges. The actual image looked to be shot of a magazine and it was the birthday issue.....lucky me!
I printed the sentiment out using my Printmaster program and some yellow Bazzill paper, then trimmed it to resemble a banner...I love doing that! The yellow "flower" is made with some party streamer crepe paper then topped with some yellow and white baker's twine.
I was also lucky to have the star paper to go along with my movie star themed card too! The paper is My Mind's Eye, Alphabet Soup. I stitched around the card front edge and then decorated the inside too to finish it all off. I sure hope she liked it, cuz I sure did!
Thanks for stopping by to see me today, please come again real soon! Until then, have a lovely day! HUGS!
I think this sheet is my fave of Peggy's cut-outs! Great eyes, I never noticed the "Birthday Issue" on the magazine. Just perfect! Love the bright colors! xxD
ReplyDeleteLOOOOVE this card, girlfriend!!! The yellow (my fav) just pops right off the screen at me! And love the magazine! I'd bet my last dollar that she was crazy about this card! Anyone would be!
