It's Love Day.....

Happy Valentine's Day!

What a lovely day it is too! Our temperature is heading up close to 70 today! I love it! Just a few weeks ago we were snowed in, but that's Texas for ya! LOL!
This is my LOVE banner that I made to hang on my "crafty room" door. I was browsing Etsy one day {like I do every day} and I saw all the cool banners that everyone was making, so I HAD to make one too!
It has lots of layers going on. Let's see, there is the Kraft card stock I started out with for a sturdy base. Then I added a black layer with sheet music on top. Then the giant red yo-yo I got HERE. Then a Nestie heart with my very own "made by me" heart shaped yo-yo. And last, but not least, the "diamond" in the center which I got HERE.
After I got all my layers glued in place I cut out L O V E using my Calligraphy Cricut cartridge and added those to the bottom of each section. I punched a hole in each top corner and threaded the twine through for hanging.
I hung it on my door for a bit of Love Day cheer in my crafty room! I'm thinking that you could make almost any theme or occasion you wanted to with this type banner. WARNING! The more letters your banner has the longer it will take to stack up and glue all those layers! LOL! It was a lot of work, but well worth it!
I hope you've enjoyed my banner today. Thanks for stopping by, please come back soon! Until then, have a lovely day! HUGS!
