Today's card is one I created for a guy. I used some digi paper from Raspberry Road and some Cricut cuts too. Sorry, I can't remember which cartridge they are from. Eeeek! I hate when I do that!
This cute cut looks like a dog tag to me. I threaded some fibers that matched the papers through the hole that was on the end just so it didn't look like I forgot to finish it.
I also hand stitched around the border. First I use my machine(minus the thread) to punch the holes, then I use embroidery floss to make the stitches.
I finished the inside of the card as well. I think the inside should be almost as interesting as the front just in case the receiver wants to set it out for all to see! Hee hee!
That's it....one guy card that hopefully stayed masculine and not too frilly with my addition of the rhinestones...couldn't resist a bit of sparkle. Until next time, have a lovely day and go make a card! HUGS!
Too cute, DeeDee!!! That bright blue really pops behind that carmel color paper (which if awesome!) Love the heart and key combo. It all goes together perfectly! Happy Friday girlfriend!! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSuper super cute!!!!! Love it as a Valentine card for sure. Big hugs, T
ReplyDeleteI love the paper you choose. And the blue paper sets it off perfectly. I don't think it's too frilly at all with the rhinestones! Great card DeeDee!
