Celebrations Cupcake - BBTB2 Challenge

Happy Monday Friends!

Did you miss me? LOL! I've been working massive amounts of hours lately and honestly don't have the umph or creativity to do what I love best.....create cards. It just so happened that I made this card for one of my special Etsy customers recently and guess what...it fits this week's BBTB2 challenge!

This week the very talented and oh so SWEET Ms. Carole Beath asked us to use the cupcake from the Cricut Celebrations cartridge. Page 101 of the manual.
I was asked to make this card in shades of purple, so off I went to my giant paper supply searching of just the right purple combos. Who doesn't love polka dots! Huh?

My customer requested this quote on the card, so I created it using my Printmaster program. I cut it out with my Nesties.

The cupcake is loaded with clear rhinestones and lots of Martha Stewart glitter on the bottom layer. Lastly I added some yummy velvet along the bottom and topped it off with a big ole satin bow. Oh, and one more thing I did for a little extra visual fun is to pop up every other one of the "pleats" in the cup cake cup. Of course you can see it better in real life!
