Just another little card I made up for my son that's away at college. I don't know, it's probably just me...but I think I may have looked like this if I were a Mama back int he 50's! Hee hee hee!
BTW, my sweetest friend Sherri sent me this image along with tons more, and I think she looks as if she's saying, "Did you make your bed today?" Hmmmm? LOL! I used my Copic markers to color her and I tried something new for me...I outlined her heavily with yellow to make her pop up off the card.....I like how it looks!
The thinking of you and the matching card and envelope was made using my Cricut Walk In My Garden cartridge that I got at Hallmark Scrapbook. (Pssst, only $38.99 right now)
Since I just sent him a card on Monday, I think I'll wait till next week to send this one. I may also gather up a few surprises to send with it too...fun, fun coming Jake's way! Hee hee hee!
THANKS for dropping by to see me today...see ya next time, HUGS for now!

You would have been a beee-ooooo-tiful mama in the 50s, DeeDee. My high school friends all had children then but I didn't become a Mama until 1969. Still, I was a teenage in the 50s and that was such a special time.
ReplyDeleteHugs, girl.... your card is just darling..and that oh so sweet Sharon who shared.
