It's A First!

Yes, it's a first for me....today is Monday and that means a new challenge over at Bitten By The Bug. Guess what? I don't have the cartridge Regina chose for this week! I know! What in the world is up with that? LOL! I gotta get it! They are using the Cricut Home Decor solutions cartridge and the chandelier cut this week. Check it out HERE!

On to my project today! I made a little desk calendar....how cute is this calendar? The calender is from The Cutting Cafe', the set is called 2009 Calendar.

The little pumpkin and Halloween on the 31st block is from the set called Blank Calendar.

Here's one of my frozen dinner box pumpkins. You can see HERE how to make them step by step.

To make my calendar stand up, I just made a "prop" using the same heavy chip board I used for the backing of my calendar. I glued it on with Zip dry glue...it's the best and dries very fast!

The little tiny flowers are from my EK Success punch. I placed rhinestones in the centers for a touch of bling! I've been seeing these calendars on blogs everywhere, but HERE'S one that's really pretty!
