Well, you know what Monday means.....right? It means there is a new challenge over at Bitten By The Bug! Also, today is a special Monday because several of the design team girlies are giving away blog candy.....and I just happen to be one of them! YAY!!
Okay, on to the challenge for this week. We are challenged to use any cut on the Doodlecharms cartridge...with one detail though...you must use it with the border feature. Cool huh?
I used the apple because I wanted to start making some teacher cards for my Etsy Shop. That time of year is drawing near to where people will need little cards to say THANK YOU to their child's teacher.
I used a Kim Hughes stamp set for the sentiment and the little guy there beside it. Can you tell what the little guy actually is? Hopefully you will see what I saw when I had my stamp set lying there upside down on my desk. He's actually a cupcake! The set is called Tag! You're it! and I got it at Cornish Heritage Farms.
The background is also from CHF, it's called Vintage Ledger. It looked all teacher-ish to me! LOL!
I decided to make a matching bookmark to go with the card. Now come on, what teacher doesn't like bookmarks!
Oh, before I forget to mention it...the A+ is from Locker Talk. I'm really lovin' how cute those apples are! Note to self: Use the border feature on Doodlecharms more often!
If I were a teacher, I think I would love to get this little set from one of my students! LOL!
Okay, so as I mentioned earlier in the post.....I'm giving away some blog candy! Here it is. The only thing I didn't get in the picture is some stamped Tilda images. I was running out of daylight and didn't have time to get them stamped.
Oh yes, you see it don't you......there is a brand new bright and shiny pink Copic marker there along side some vintage buttons and lace from MY stash!
There is also a Bazzill chipboard mini album, some Queen & Co. felt trim and some fun Making Memories tags and such in a lovely shade of purple! Oh and then the Tilda stamped images too!
Okay, be sure to leave a comment for me to be entered for a chance to win my blog candy and then hop on over to sweet Kazan Clark's blog, she's got some candy for you too! Be sure to follow the links and sign up for each one of the designer's candy for more chances to WIN!
NOTE: You can get an extra entry from me if you do the BBTB challenge and leave a link to your project in my comments section here on this post. Deadline to enter for a chance to WIN my candy, is Saturday night at midnight. Have fun and I'll see ya tomorrow with more card FUN! HUGS!
ETA: This contest ended Saturday May 2nd.....SORRY! THANKS for visiting!
