I love Easter! My boys are too old for Easter baskets and Easter eggs....but I love to make all those fun goodies anyways!
I made a more interesting center for my flower using some yummy yellow ribbon, a big ole button and a heart stick pin. It's all tied on to the handle with another piece of the yellow ribbon.
I used the long window box from The Cutting Cafe' to create my Easter Egg "basket". I added a handle to the box, so I call it a basket. It holds the little small plastic eggs or any other small Easter goodie.
I finished it all off with some flowers from the Cricut Walk in my Garden cartridge, a few dew drops, some sweet little pompom trim and a bit more of the yummy yellow ribbon!

The box is made using Kraft card stock as the base and then I added all the other fluff to make it PURTY! LOL!
Have you started making your Easter goodies yet? I still have lots more to show you, so please join me again tomorrow for more Easter FUN! HUGS!
DeeDee, your boys are NOT too big for Easter Baskets (though I will agree that they are too big for the egg hunt, sadly)!!! My mom gave me an Easter Basket every year, even after I was married. I eventually took over. My oldest ds is a college graduate, lives three hours from home, and I am making him, college aged dd, and my younger ds (a senior in high school) baskets. The nature of the basket filler has changed - more DVDs, tees, etc and less candy now that they are older. I also make a basket for dh and I to share! You are NEVER TOO OLD to be visited by the bunny!!!! ;-)
