HAPPY - 2 Sketches 4 You - Laura's Sketch #6

This is Laura's sketch #6 over at 2 Sketches 4 You....LOVE IT!!! Be sure to go by their blog and check out the sketches each week......You can win PRIZES!!!!
My Daddy's birthday is coming up the first of next month and I decided to use Laura's sketch to make his card. I turned the sketch on it's side for this card.
See the wonderful old antique buttons.....I'm lovin' my button and lace find....so many uses for these great old buttons.
Look at that neat tag....I got that from one talented lady on Etsy...you can see her store HERE. I distressed the tag a bit and added a torn piece of material for the top. I also added the "HAPPY" tag on the bottom there using my new Storybook Cricut cartridge and a stamp I've had forever.
I really LOVE how this card turned out....it's all vintage looking and I think it's a rough and rugged looking card suitable for a man.......well, the best man......my Daddy!!! Thanks for stopping by today!!! Be sure to check back with me really soon...like MONDAY...I have a big surprise that's lots of fun and it involves FREE stuff!!!! Yippee!!!!
Supplies:
Daisy D's, DCWV and Bazzill paper
Sewing, strips of material and old buttons
Cats eye chalk ink
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - walnut stain
