I guess with the HOT weather we've been having Regina of
Bitten by the Bug thought that thinking of Christmas would help cool us off. This week Regina asked the Design Team to use the pointy toed stocking from the
Cricut Christmas Cheer cartridge. This is my favorite stocking of all!
I also used my
Cricut Joys of the Season cartridge for the snowflake on the stocking, some K I Memories papers, pearl dew drops, a few snowflake brads, some purple
bling and safety pin from my stash, a white pom-pom on the toe, a
SU stamp for the tag, a bit of
Offray ribbon and lots of
Stickles for glimmer and shine!!!
The bottom scallop is from the
Cricut Accent Essentials cartridge...I used it as the bottom edge of the card front...the card actually rests on the edges....I did that just for a little something different. And lastly, I popped the stocking up off the card with pop dots for a little added interest! Okay it's August and I have a Christmas card done....if I keep it up maybe I won't be rushing at the last minute to get them done!!! Be sure and check out the other Designer Creations over at

Your card is absolutely adorable. I love Christmas cards that have those soft, yummy colors. And that giant scallop.....I need to borrow my friend's cartridge and cut some of those out! Ca-ute!
