Back to School

Happy Hump Day everyone!!! Yes it's almost Back to School time at our house. My youngest who will be 17 in a few weeks is going into his Junior year in High School starting on Monday.

It seems like he was just starting Kindergarten the other day......but times flies and they grow up so FAST!!!!!
Okay now on to my project.......I'm a DT member over at Hallmark Scrapbook, and every week we have a challenge to use a certain cut from one of the MANY Cricut cartridges. This is a project I did using one of the recent challenges.
We were to use the bus from the Cricut Doodlecharms cartridge. I'm trying to build up my Etsy store so I made a few tags to go in there...and since "back to school" is right around the corner I thought Moms everywhere would be snapping back to school pictures and might need a cute little school bus embellishment for her scrapbook page.
I also decided to start using a few props when I take my pictures (if I can) so that it makes the photo more interesting.....How'd I do here? Even though my oldest son is 20 and has been out of school for a while and my youngest has only a few years of HS left.....we still have boxes of crayons and pencils and rulers and paper and folders and notebooks......hey, when it goes on sale.....I HAD to buy it.....LOL!!!! THANK YOU for stopping by today....please be sure to go have some fun over at my friend Julie's On the Dot Creations.....she is giving away over $700 worth of prizes!!!!! HUGS!!!!!

  1. Very cool DeeDee! And yes adding props to the picks does make the project pop! When we gave my fiance's daughter the baby cricut for her b-day this bus was her first cut...
