Eye Think You're Awesome By The Cutting Cafe'

Happy Monday!
I hope your weekend treated you wonderfully! We had a very busy weekend, but I did find time to craft and decorate for Halloween.  I love decorating for Halloween.  It's so much fun to pull out all my decor and spread it around the house to create a festive place to be.
Pin It Today I have a little treat bag I made using an old book page and I've added the cutest little one eyed monster you'll ever see!  Regina over at The Cutting Cafe' created this little digital stamp and I printed him onto some fun Halloween paper and cut him out.  The set is called A Bunch of Monsters.
This is one of the sentiments in the set and of course its perfect for this cute little one eyed monster.  I printed it onto my printed paper and then cut it out with my oval shaped Nesties.  The scalloped oval is cut out of cork.
I printed two of my monsters.  One on the printed Halloween paper and one on plain white card stock.  I cut out the eye and the mouth and colored the tongue with one of my dark orange Copic markers.  I used foam tape to pop up the eye and mouth.  He's so stinkin' cute!
I used a few Halloween charms I had in my stash to decorate the white Hemp Cord I tied around the bottom of the treat bag 3 times.
I also had the shredded paper in my stash and added that to keep the candies hidden until that special someone looks inside!

To make the treat bag:
Using one page from your old book (my page measures 6x9), trace your scalloped edge using a template or freehand it then cut it out.  Lay the page out flat on the table long ways and bring both sides toward the middle evenly. Crease the sides flat and then turn up the bottom edge about 1/4 of an inch. Carefully glue the center back seam and the bottom edge.  This creates your goodie bag.  Decorate and fill!  I got my idea HERE.....Pinterest of course! Click on the word Pinterest to see my Boo to you Board!

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you've enjoyed my fun little treat bag today, it sure was fun to make!  Please come again really soon, but until then...have a lovely day!  HUGS! :)
