BOO!

Happy Monday!
So how'd your weekend go? Mine was busy...busy....and more busy! I loved every minute of it though.
You wanna know a secret?  I get up early on the weekends too! Yeah, I know...I'm a goofus! Well, the reason is.....I love to sip my yummy coffee and create early in the mornings.  My brain seems to be at its most creative then.....go figure!
Pin It Today I just gotta show you a nifty little Halloween pillow box from The Cutting Cafe'.  This set is awesome.  It has 4 different shapes for the cut out!  It's called  Halloween Pillow Box.
See the outline of the ghost? That comes in the cutting file too! Regina thinks of everything!
I used the set called Halloween Goodie Borders for the sentiment and then for my printed Kraft paper that I made the box out of, I used a set called Monster Love Background.
These pillow boxes hold lots of yummy candies.  I have Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Rolos and Kisses in there!
I also got out some of my Tim Holtz grunge board letters and made my BOO.  First I used charcoal chalk ink to "color" it then I covered each dot with orange Stickles.
This is the box empty.  I used a piece of clear plastic to line behind the ghost so my goodies wouldn't spill out, then I added some black rain dots for his eyes and mouth.

Thanks for flying in to see me today! I hope you've enjoyed your visit and return really soon! Until then, have a lovely day! HUGS! :)

Oh hon, I'm so sorry I've missed sooo much! I think I'm in a bit over my head, these days and I'm finally trying to do something about the "few"(cough cough) pounds I've put on since crafting 24/7 the past couple of years. Please forgive if I poke around but don't leave comments on everything. You know I luv ya, AND your fabby work. BTW, I'm an early riser every day too. 3:00am yesterday and 4:30 today. However, I'm quite catatonic at those hours. LOL anyway, LOVE your adorable boo box! Now I'm gonna take a few more peeks around. xxD

Maybe Donna and I need to start hanging out more often...cause I'm up too (not that early) and I'm with kids! LOL! I guess I didn't realize you knew Donna (which I guess makes sense). She's a great friend of mine and my neighbor! How cool is that! =)

So...you cute thing, you...I love this project and the Boo part turned out soooo cool! Gosh I love that part!

Have a great weekend!!!!! ~Leah

Well, DeeDee, you've outdone yourself again on this project. It is just awesome from the monster background paper printed on kraft cardstock (one of my faves) to the fantastic raindots for the ghost face. I could go on and on....the grugeboard boo with the sparkly Stickles dots, etc., etc., etc...
