Vintage Polka Dots.....Yummy!

Happy Wednesday!
Question: Who doesn't LOVE polka dots? I mean seriously, maybe its a sickness, but I swear I can spot polka dots a mile away.....and then I need them! LOL!

Today's card features one of Peggy's vintage images from over at Peggy Loves Vintage. What a sweet little girl skipping along as happy as can be...not a care in the world! Tra-la-la!
Of course I printed her on textured paper so it looks and feels more vintage-y. Cards back then were so much more a piece of art. Now they just slap the image on a flat glossy card stock and call it good!
I used some baker's twine in red/white and turquoise/white all lined up alternating one color then the other and then topped it with some vintage buttons. Just a fun little detail that adds a bit of interest.
I used a Kim Hughes stamp for the sentiment and cut it out with my Nesties and then added a punched flower centered with a tiny crystal.
This is a pedestal card that I decorated using some of the Nana's Kitchen papers. The papers in that stack look really vintage to me so I thought it went well with this image.
That's about it for my card today. I hope you've enjoyed your visit to my little space in the cyber world. Thanks for visiting and please come again. Until then, have a lovely day! HUGS!

Oh, this is so sweet and precious DeeDee! Love the printing on the texture but I have a bit of trouble with that. Sometimes the image sort of rubs off. Do you think it's because I have a laser printer? Is your's inkjet? In any case, I adore this! xxD
