Good Luck and a Happy New Year

Happy Friday!
Here's my last vintage image New Years card for you. This whole week I've been showing you all these wonderful vintage images from Peggy Loves Vintage and I hope you've had time to go on over to her store and check out all the wonderful images she has collected. You're missing a treat if you haven't been to look yet!

This little girl's outfit is just adorable so of course I used the colors of her dress to choose the colors for my card. I used all scraps from my scrap bin to create this one. I love doing that!
The sentiment and the image came as one, but I cut them apart and matted them for a bit more interest. I angled off the corners of the image to match the border going around the little girl. It gave the look of photo corners I think.
I know I've said it time and time again, but when I use Peggy's images...a card comes together really fast, easy and oh so adorable! I love how this one turned out! It's for sale in my Etsy shop if you're interested.

That's it for me this week. I'm so thankful its the weekend. I will be resting up and maybe creating some more Valentine cards too. We are so cold here today and all I would love better than anything is to snuggle down in my craft room and make up a stack of yummy little cards. That beats going outside in the cold any time! Join me Monday for a new BBTB challenge! HUGS!

Such a sweet card! She reminds me so much of a little Dutch girl. You can't see her feet but I'm sure she has wooden shoes on. Love it!
