Thanks A Bunch, Dustin Pike's Dragon and a Yummy Snack!

Happy Wednesday!

I hope today finds you well and happy. I have some fun stuff to share with you today. My neighbor boy helped me finish a chore the other day and I wanted to make a little something for him to say thank you. He loves skate boards, so I went in search of the perfect skate board art. I visited Dustin Pike's digi stamp store and there he was.....Skatin' Dragon! Ain't he ca-ute!
As you might know, I love to pair the digi stamps from The Cutting Cafe' with Dustin's images, so I went through and found the thank yous I needed and printed them up. These are from the Thank You Background and Big Stuff Sentiments. I joined them together and changed the color using my Printmaster program.
After I colored the dragon with my Copic markers, I cut him out, scored his wrist and then attached him only by his "paw" to the thanks circle I created. He didn't really want to stand up too well, so I glued a small thick button right behind his wrist and tah-dah, he stood up just fine!
If I do say so myself, this is the cutest little gift I've made in a long time! LOL! I almost don't want to give it away!
Okay, now for the goodies inside. These are "Fire Crackers". A spicy little snack recipe that I received in our electric bill one time. Here's how to make them:
Fire Crackers
11oz. package Oyster Crackers
1/2 Cup Canola Oil
1 package Hidden Vally Ranch Dip Mix
2 tablespoons Crushed Red Pepper
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
Using a gallon zip top bag, place all dry ingredients in and then add oil. Mix well, then add crackers. Tumble well to coat all crackers. Tumble occasionally thereafter. These are better the longer they sit.
I filled a small zip top bag with the little crackers and then popped them into the recycled plastic container that I decorated earlier. And there ya go...one yummy, cute gift!
That's about it for today, thanks for skatin' by to see me today, please join me tomorrow for more card FUN! HUGS!

DeeDee, that dragon is seriously ca-ute (to use your word)! My SIL loves dragons and now I'm trying to think of a way to surprise her with that guy! Love the idea of the recycled container...I hate throwing those things away to live in the land-fill forever. TFS
