Joy to the World...The Lord Has Come

Hello there!!! I hope your day is going well so far. I am glad that the weekend is drawing nearer, which means shopping and craft time...woohoo!!! Today I have a little card that I made using another one of the stamps from the Christmas set over at The Cutting Cafe'.
For this one I printed the image twice. I colored both, but cut out one to use for a bit of a cover-up. I used my Copic markers to color the images and since I'm fairly new to them, I had a bit of a problem with the ink bleeding past the lines. I tried to pop the top layer up to hide the little booboo, but I could still see it a tiny bit. I just chalked it up to learning and decided to be happy with the results. LOL!!
One of my favorite things to do with the Copic markers is to use a very light colored gray to "shadow" around the image....this causes the image to pop off the card....I love that!!!! You can also use other very light colors that match your image, but so far I've just tried the gray.
THANK YOU for stopping by to see me....I truly enjoy reading all your sweet comments and answering all the email questions....I am blessed to have such wonderful readers!!! See you tomorrow with another card!! HUGS!!!
"Yep, That's What He Said"
I'm not as dumb as I look, it's just these funny clothes my Mama makes me wear! (when someone tries to tell you something untrue)

This is lovely D, it sounds as if you are in the same place as me with the copics. Don't you just love the intensity of the colours. I love the shadow as well!
