Pretty in Pink Jewelry Box

Happy Sunday my friends!!! Did you set your clocks back yet? Don't forget or you'll be an hour early everywhere you go!!! LOL!! Have you ever bought or made a sweet little piece of jewelry and needed a gorgeous box to put it in? Well I have the remedy for you.....you can make your own box!!! Regina's Cutting Designs is the answer...She has a special right now that allows you to get the pattern for this sweet little box for FREE!!!! Go HERE to check it out!!!
Of course you can use this box for more than just jewelry and if you go HERE you can see several different ideas. Okay, so for my jewelry box I had to make a holder for the bracelet so I cut a piece of coordinating card stock to fit in the bottom of the box and made little chip board "legs" to glue to the back of the card.....I just cut 3 strip of chip board and scored about 1/4" from each end and then bent it over to form the "legs"...then I punched to holes on either end and threaded a bit of elastic cord to hold the bracelet. If you click on the picture you can see it up close!!! Oh and that big yummy felt flower came in my SweetArts Paperie kit....dontcha love it?
Since jewelry is a treasure...what better to use than my new stamp from the set called Ahoy Matey by Kim Hughes that I bought at Cornish Heritage Farms. The heart I cut from the good ole George cartridge...a shadow to back it up of course...I added a pop dot in between the layers for a little lift and interest...adhered a few rhinestones for the bling factor and applied it to a yummy twill tape ribbon and the box is all tied up!!! Do you see the neat design on the inside of the box? I got the idea from my sweet friend and fellow designer...TeriBeri...I found some really cool foam stamps at M's and pulled out the acrylic paint and dressed up the interior of my box....also distressed the whole box with the paint as well....THANKS for the idea Teri!!!! *wink*
Do you see that pretty border punch that matches the Basic Grey paper that I used? It's my new Fiskars border punch that I got at M's with my 40% off coupon....I love it, so you'll probably be seeing it a lot for a awhile...LOL!!!! That pretty twill tape ribbon also came in my SweetArts Paperie kit as well.
Here's the end results....this box will be for sale in my Etsy shop sometime later on today....of course my Brighton bracelet won't go with it.....my sweet Mama gave me that and it's one of my favorites!!!! So if you want to make your own box.....hop on over to Regina's Cutting Designs and get this pattern for FREE....the deal she has going on is a bargain that you don't want to miss out on!!!! Have a glorious Sunday and I'll see you back here tomorrow for the Bitten by the Bug challenge....it's a really neat one!!!! HUGS!!!
