Wow, I'm first? I'm never first! Congrats on your blog-a-versary! I really enjoy seeing your creations and being inspired by them. My favorite summer memory would have to be all the softball games. Softball playing was a family event for us...my dad coached our church team, my mom pitched, and I started playing 2nd base when I was just about 10 years old (LOL, made some of those ladies maaaad when I got picked to be on the church league all-star team!). Once my sister was old enough, she started playing as well. We spent almost every weekend playing and we loved it!

Congratulations!

My favorite summertime memory was spending the summers at my dad's house on the lake. I almost never got dressed because I just wore a swimsuit all the time!

YAY!!! Congrats on your blogaversary DeeDee!!!! What fun candy you're giving away! Now I'm trying to think what my favorite summer memory is. I grew up in a neighborhood full of kids. It was considered to be "little Italy" so you can imagine. Every family had six or eight kids. LOL! We constantly played dress up and hide and seek and tag and all kinds of games. So it was probably just playing with the neighborhood kids every day. Thanks for the fun DeeDee!!!! HUGS!!

We used to go to a county park in the thumb of Michigan. We had a travel trailer on a lot there and stayed the summer---we had so much fun---playing on the beach, having campfires, etc.

Hi there - my favorite summer memory/thing to do was to go fishing with my grandfathers. They both loved to fish. I just loved to shine the flashlight in the water to see the fish. (Not sure how many flashlights I dropped into the lake - oops!) Thanks for sharing your blog.

Congratulations on your blogaversary. Your blog is great, loaded with eye candy. Love just looking. My favorite childhood memory is going to my aunts house every Sunday to swim in her pool. That is where the whole family gathered. We had cookouts, the grownups played cards and us kids swam. I miss my aunt & uncle and all those special memories.

Congratulations! My best summer memory is from 2003. I just finished my studies and went on a working vacation to the south of France. I didn't know anyone there, but it was a super vacation! I had to do the dishes after breakfast and dinner, but the rest of the day I could do what I wanted: walking, swimming, etc. Greetings from Belgium, Annelies

OK! Here I go... my best Summer memory is when I was 6 years old, 1972 to be exact. Summer of 1972... my parents travel with us for the first time from Cali Colombia to the USA, and we travel the state of Florida by car. It was also the first time I went to Walt Disney World and they kept it as a surprise. What a Dream, come true.!!! I remember almost everything about this trip, but if I write it down, it will take pages and pages... Thank you DeeDee for an awesome year of projects...

HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY!!!!!!!! and MmmmMmmmmmMmm! gorgeous blog candy!!!

ok, a summertime memory...gosh i have LOADS of favorites, but many of them are centered around trips to the beach at wildwood, nj: playing in the sand, amassing HUGE collections of shells and rocks and hermit crabs (the latter sensibly but tearfully left behind on command of mom!) swimming in the ocean and the hotel pool, walking the boardwalk at night to get ice cream, going on the amusement rides...actually, even though i've not been to wildwood in years, i *STILL ENJOY* almost all of those things!!! :)

happy summer and best wishes for many more FABULOUS blog years!

Well done on your blogaversary.
My favourite summer memory is when my stepson came out to visit us when we lived in Greece. It was the first time he had flown, the first time he had been abroad and his first day out on a sailing boat. He is getting married on Saturday so I will have another favourite summer memory.

Yippee!! One year-that's fantastic! Congratulations on a Blog well done. Your creations are very inspiring. You are so talented. My fav sumertime memory is the back yard BBQ's my Dad would host. His brisket was to die for, the grilled ears of corn, hand cranked ice cream with fresh peaches, mom's special potato salad...the list goes on. We would just hang out and enjoy the evening, food, and company!

My favorite summer memory was all the time I spent at my grandparents house. I couldn't wait for school to let out so I could spend time with them all by myself.

Happy Blogaversary!!

My favorite summer memory is swimming . . . we used to have a pool in our backyard, and I was like a little fish! Then after our pool came down, I used to spend all day practically every day at the park pool with my girlfriends, and we swam . . . we weren't the girls in the makeup that just hung out working on our tans . . . we would spend all day in the water . . . and the evenings smelling of chlorine!

I also used to enjoy a good 16-inch softball game!

Awesome blog candy!

There were eight children in my family and we didn't have too much. My mom would make popsickles in those little plastic molds that were so good. And also my neighbor had shore property and she would take us down there to swim in the Chesapeake Bay. I LOVED it and still love the water today. It's 100 degrees here. Sure would feel good!

First of all...a big CONGRATS on your blog-a-versary! You know what they say...time flies when you're having fun! Anyway my favorite summertime memory was of spending the weekends at my aunt's beach apartment and sleeping on the floor in my favorite fold out bed! Thanks for the fun!

Congrats on your aniversary. I have many summer memories, but I think I most remember the two boys who lived across the street from us. It was when being a latch key kid wasn't uncommon and we spent most of our summer days with little to no adult supervision. My sister and I and those two boys. Brothers I never had. Everytime I think of them I smile. One of those boys has since passed away, a car accident stole him from us at the age of 20, but there are so few memories I have of him that don't make me smile. I think I'm signing off to run through the sprinkler...LOL

Congratulations on your first blog-a-versary. Your blog is very good and I enjoy looking at it often. My favorite summer memory is when my family and my cousin's families would go to my grandmother's house every weekend. My dad and uncles barbequed chicken halves for lunch. We all played games outside and later inside until we had to go home. My cousins and I are still close and love to get together as often as we can. There is nothing like family members who are also friends.

My favorite summer time memory is summer vacations in Quebec. We would go to my Grandma's cabin on the St-Lawrence river and spend a week there and then we would go to my other Grandparent's farm and spend a week there. Between the beach bonfires and the farm animals there are memories to last a lifetime.
