Christmas Cheer Cartridge BBTB Challenge

This shot shows the scalloped edge.....however the sun washed the color out here.
This week Regina asked us to use the Christmas Cheer Cartridge and from that cartridge we were to use the card and envelope. This is a great card because it has a scallop along the edge. I used Cosmo Cricket paper, which is double sided and worked perfectly for this project. The flower here is the George shift flower on shadow cut in several different sizes, sanded, inked and then before I put it together, I crumpled it to make it look even more distressed. Then I un-crumple it and assemble. The stem was made with a thin strip of paper.....I folded it accordian style to add a little interest.....the leaf I cut out freehand and distressed with the sander as well. The "happy" on the tag is a stamp and the "birthday" is a rub-on. I also used my SU jumbo roller to stamp the swirls on the envelope and the inside of the card. Be sure and see all the other designer creations over at BBTB (link to the left) the ladies did an AWESOME job this week.....Lovely work ladies!!! TFL
